Reggie:
Ian- Wait.



Ian:
I was just coming to look for you actually.

Reggie:
I heard. It's true isn't it?

Ian:
I was gonna to tell you.
Don't feel bad.




Reggie:
I can't help it.

Ian:
I'm just restless.



Reggie:
Yeah just since Joanna came

Ian: (catching up with her)
Hey Reg,
I'm just not meant to be a schoolboy.

Reggie:
C'mon Ian I thought you were doing ok
You know you're just right for this place.
Maybe more than anybody.

Ian:
Hey you want to come by later and see us off.



Reggie:
I can't. We are all going to go cheer for
Lou tonight it's his big speech.

Ian:
Oh right. Where is it?

Reggie:
Legion Hall.
We're going to dress up and carry banners.
We'll miss you.

Ian:
Yeah.

Reggie:
I guess this is it huh?

Reggie:
Yeah ok, great.

Ian looks in on Shorofsky's Classroom
but leaves without entering.

Outside School

Joanna:
You do it?

Ian:
Yeah fine.

Joanna:
What about wise old owl?

Ian:
I didn't tell Shorofsky yet

Joanna:
Why not?


Ian:
He was busy.

Joanna:
You ducking him?

Ian:
No I'll send him a letter from Boston.

Joanna:
So you're all ready then

Ian:
How about if I meet you after the gig?

Joanna:
You're not going to play with us?

Ian:
Well I've got some things to do
and Lous' making speech.

Joanna:
Ian, you're not going to have enough
time to get everything ready ..

Ian:
I'll have plenty of time.

Lou's

Reggie:
You going to have some pizza?

Ian:
No I can't. We'll be leaving for
Boston in an hour.
I've got to meet the band.

Reggie:
I'm really glad you came.


Ian:
Why did you say that about me being
more right for this school than anybody?

Reggie:
Because you are. You're an original.
You have more talent and more passion
Shorofsky, Ms Grant and Mr. Seager love that.
It really juices them up.

Ian:
Then why were they always
on my back?

Reggie:
Because you're worth it.
They see what you can be.

Ian:
Well...I'll write to you.
I'm good for that.

Reggie:
I'm still going to miss you.
