Emma Brody: Arija Bareikis
Arija Bareikis (pronounced AIREE-A BAR-AY-KUSS) makes her primetime network television debut as a regular with THE AMERICAN EMBASSY, in which she portrays Emma Brody.

Bareikis recently starred as the female lead in the Rob Schneider comedy "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo." Her additional film credits include "The Myth of Fingerprints" opposite Noah Wyle, "Snow Falling on Cedars," "30 Days" and "The Naked Man."

On television, Bareikis appeared as Emily di Mauro on the popular television soap opera "One Life to Live" in 1996. She also had a recurring role on the gritty prison drama "Oz" and appeared as a guest star on "Law & Order."

Born in Bloomington, Indiana, Bareikis is a graduate of Stanford University. After graduation she worked as a paralegal until she eventually moved to New York City and began to study theater at the Actors Studio. She made her Broadway debut as part of the 1997 Tony Award-winning cast of "The Last Night of Ballyhoo." Most recently, she appeared off-Broadway in "Hotel Universe" for the Blue Light Theatre Company and Playwrights Horizons' critically acclaimed production of "The Moment When." Bareikis currently resides in New York City.


Michael Cerveris can be seen in the independent films "Lulu on the Bridge," "Strangers," "A Woman, Her Men, and Her Futon" and "Tokyo Pop."

His television credits include guest-starring roles on "Equalizer," FOX's "21 Jump Street," "Leg Work" and "The Tracey Ullman Show." He also was a series regular on "Fame."

Cerveris appeared in Broadway's "Tommy" and "Titanic." His Off Broadway credits include "Hedwig & The Angry Inch," "Total Eclipse," "Abingdon Square," "Life is a Dream" and "MacBeth." He also has appeared in "A Midsummer Night's Dream," "Measure For Measure" and "The Portrait of Dorian Gray."

JONATHAN CAKE - Jack Wellington
Jonathan Cake has an impressive list of film and TV appearances. His film credits include "Honest," "True Blue" and "First Knight."

For British television, Cake appeared in several TV series, including "Noah's Ark," "The Jump" and "Degrees of Error." He also played the title role in "Mosley." In addition, he appeared in "Cows," the TV pilot written by Eddie Izzard. Cake joined playwright Alan Ayckbourn's theater company and went on to become a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, where he appeared in several productions including "Tamberlaine." He currently resides in London.

David Cubitt's feature films include "Ali," "The Perfect Son," Frank Marshall's "Alive" starring Ethan Hawke and "K2."

He starred in several television series such as "Turks" and "Traders," for which he received Canada's Gemini Award for Best Actor, and had recurring roles in the series "That's Life" and "Michael Hayes." Other television credits include guest-starring roles in FOX's "The X-Files," as well as cable's "Outer Limits" and "Poltergeist." He also appeared in the network movies "Major Crime" and "Friends to the End."

His theater background includes appearances in the plays "Road," "Fortune and Men's Eyes" and "Spoon River Anthology."

HELEN CAREY - Janet Westerman
Helen Carey's films include "The Pelican Brief," "The Shadow Conspiracy" "Black Knight" and "Just the Ticket."

For television, Carey guest starred on "Law and Order," "Seinfeld" and "Spencer For Hire." She was a series regular on "Turks" and had a recurring role on "Homicide."

Carey appeared in Roundabout Theatre's "Hotel Suite" and "London Assurance," which was nominated for the 1997 Tony Award. Other theater credits include "The House of Bernada Alba," "School For Scandal," "MacBeth," "The Cherry Orchard," "The Importance of Being Earnest" and "A Streetcar Named Desire."


Jonathan Adams' television credits include guest-starring roles in "Frasier," "City of Angels," "Walker, Texas Ranger" and "Felicity." His television movie roles include "The Bride in Black" and "Equal Justice."

Adams has extensive experience in theater, acting in such plays as "The Taming of the Shrew," "The Man Who Came to Dinner," "A Midsummer Night's Dream," "Cymbelline," "Blues for an Alabama Sky," "Two Gentlemen of Verona" and "As You Like It" for the Oregon Shakespeare Theatre Group. He also performed in "The Nerd" with the Milwaukee Repertory and "The Gospel at Colonus" with ACT Seattle.

Reiko Aylesworth's film credits include "Random Hearts" and "Man on the Moon," as well as the independent features "Shooting Vegetarians," "No Deposit, No Return" and "Childhood's End. "She was a series regular on "All Souls" and also served as a guest lead on "Law and Order."

Aylesworth's theater background includes appearances in "Peter Pan," "Charlotte's Web," "Anne of Green Gables," "Robbers" and "Kissing Christine/Missing Marisa."


Davenia McFadden is no stranger to television. She has made guest appearances on "For Your Love," "7th Heaven," FOX's "Ally McBeal," "Seinfeld" and "ER," and had a recurring role in "Becker."

Her film credits include roles in the feature films "Stranger Inside," "Random Hearts," "Double Jeopardy, " "My Best Friend's Wedding," "Private Parts" and "Eddie."

McFadden's background in theater includes appearances in "The Merry Wives of Windsor," "The Cradle Will Rock," "Pericles" and "Bale of Straw." She trained at the North Carolina School of the Arts.
